This COMEPLAY folding handlebar mount made of titanium is not only significantly lighter than the original from Brompton, but also looks significantly better. While the plastic part from the Brompton including the screw and washer weighs a whopping 27 grams, the chic titanium part weighs just 11 grams - including the screw and washer. The screw is made hollow on the inside, due to the high-strength titanium, this is easily feasible in terms of strength.
The function is exactly the same as the original, the handlebar snaps into the holder and is held in it just as firmly.
Installation is plug & play: unscrew the old bracket, attach the new one and you're done.

Ich konnte den Klemmer problemlos monitieren und das einschnappen funktioniert sehr gut, obwohl ich anfangs meine Bedenken hatte, weil Titan nicht so elastisch schien. Ich bin gespannt, wie es nach mehrmaligen Gebrauch sein wird. War sehr zufrieden mit dem Bestellablauf, Service und Lieferzeit.
