This high-quality front rack fits perfectly on the original Brompton front carrier block or our Front Carrier Block!
The design of this universal bag holder is quite simple and compact; it doesn't take up much space but can carry a lot of luggage.The rack can be easily clicked onto the front-mounted carrier block and removed just as quickly.
The rack is compatible with all (known to us) Brompton folding bikes, except for the Electric model. But if you're riding an electric bike, you'd have the battery mounted there anyway and no space...
The basket rack is welded from 10mm tubes, and the material is a high-strength titanium alloy. This makes it super robust yet light, weighing only 260 grams.
Our heavy-duty front rack offers optimal stability for your luggage. Please note: The maximum load capacity is limited by the original plastic mount on the Brompton (Carrier Block) with a load limit of 10 kg.

Zum einen Bike mit Titan-Rahmen passt dieser Gepäckträger optisch perfekt. Allerdings musste ich feststellen, dass er etwas locker sitzt, so dass ich Einlagen aus Karton und 1mm-ABS-Kunststoff (Bild) bastelte. Für die BOTE-Tasche von FAHRER Berlin habe ich zudem noch eine Platte aus Hart-PVC montiert Beim zweiten Rad passt der Träger besser! Beide Montage-Blöcke laufen unter 'Original Brompton'...
Vielen Dank für die coole Bewertung - Bilder mit solchen Individualisierungsvorschlägen finden wir immer super, weil es etwas Anregung gibt, was man damit alles machen kann.
Das mit dem Sitz ist so eine Sache. Wir hatten den ersten Prototyp nach einerm originalen Carrier Block fertigen lassen - der passte dann an einem anderen Rad nicht und musste mühevll aufgebogen werden. Wie Du schon festgestellt hast, über die Generationen von Bromptons gibts schon kleine Unterschiede. Dazu sind auch gewisse Fertigungstoleranzen nicht zu verleugnen. Daher versuchen wir den Ständer so zu machen, dass er überall gut funktioniert, aber mit kleinen Bordmitteln noch verbessert werden kann.
